We’re seeking a UK-based part-time Agricultural Marketing & Comms Specialist to strengthen our presence in the UK arable farming sector. You’ll join our dynamic marketing team to build awareness, generate marketing leads, and support our sales efforts through UK-tailored campaigns and farmer engagement initiatives.
This is a hands-on, impact-driven role ideal for someone with a strong data-driven approach and a creative mindset — someone who thrives on improving performance as much as crafting engaging farmer-facing content.
Key Responsibilities
Farmer Acquisition & Engagement
Support the planning and rollout of multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, email, events, PR, social media) to drive Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) targeting UK arable farmers.
Support the referral program, partnerships with partners/influencers, and local events.
Coordinate communication for UK farmers throughout their Soil Capital journey (email, SMS, WhatsApp, in App messages etc).
Contribute to renewal strategy alongside the UK sales team to maximize retention.
Campaign & Event Support
Coordinate UK-specific farmer events, fields days, and webinars.
Identify and assist with local trade shows and community outreach.
Content Creation & Communication
Craft compelling UK farmer-facing content: case studies, social media posts, newsletters, educational content and blog articles.
Support production of tailored materials addressing local farmer concerns, regulations, and subsidy frameworks.
Farmer Community Development
Assist in developing a community of engaged UK-based farmers.
Identify and test farmer engagement tools tailored to UK needs.
CRM & Performance Monitoring
Support CRM-driven campaigns in collaboration with sales, including email sequences and automated workflows.
Track and report key UK marketing KPIs (lead conversion, content reach, event ROI).
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with the farmer sales team to align marketing initiatives with prospecting and sales goals. Support throughout the entire sales cycle — from lead generating to closing and renewal.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and internal teams.
Partner with Product, Agronomy, and Farmer teams to translate field insights into meaningful content for farmer marketing campaigns.
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years in B2C or B2B2C marketing with a strong emphasis on UK
agriculture.
Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Proven success executing multi-channel marketing strategies.
Strong content creation and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and digital marketing tools.
Comfortable using analytics tools and making data-informed decisions.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Desired Skills
Deep understanding of farmer mindsets, trust-building in agriculture, and value chain dynamics.
Knowledge of sustainability-focused business
Fluent in English; working knowledge of French a strong plus.
Personality Traits
Strategic thinker with an operational mindset.
Assertive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented.
Strong communicator and storyteller with empathy for the farming community.
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven, and scaling environment, managing multiple projects with agility and excellence.
Work well under pressure
