The position

Job description

As a Full Stack Developer, your main mission at Soil Capital will be to think, build, deliver and tweak our Web App allowing farmers to manage their farms and be eligible for carbon certificates.

Our core technological stack is React in combination with TypeScript for the Front-end, and NodeJS (express) in combination with TypeScript for the back-end.

You’ll join a dynamic team of 4 developers, 2 Product Manager and a Product Designer who have a constructive and pragmatic approach to the development challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Think, Build, Ship and Tweak Farmer Portal platform.

  • Attend, participate and contribute to the Squad Scrum Ceremonial.

  • Code, QA and Maintain the Farmer Portal platform on the functional and technical aspect.

  • Interact closely with the Squad, the Product Manager and the Product Designer to deliver the best possible product in accordance with the Roadmap and Soil Capital’s standard of excellence.


Preferred experience

  • 3+ years of experience in programming

  • Very good knowledge of React and TypeScript.

  • Very good knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript.

  • Concrete experience with REST APIs.

  • Used to work in an Agile environment.

  • Fluent in French and English.

  • Knowledge of Material-UI is a plus.

  • Knowledge of PHP/Laravel is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Clean Architecture or Domain Driven Development is a plus.

  • Knowledge of GitHub Actions is a plus.

  2. Hiring lead interview (45 min) with David (Developer Specialist) to go much more in depth into the role

  3. Technical interview (1 hour) to evaluate the technical aspects - you will receive more details during the interviews

  4. Last step interview (30 min) with Mihai & Guillaume, CTO & COO
