Job description

Role:

We are looking for a Country Launcher Spain to kickstart Skello’s business in the Spanish market and pave the road for strong success in this region.

This is both a very hands-on and strategic role that involves being able to find the first power users as well as building a strategy and a top-performing team.

The position involves defining the right go-to-market strategy, acquiring the first customers and ensuring that these customers are successful with Skello.

The Country Launcher is accountable for local operations, and building a healthy business in Spain in alignment with Skello’s culture.

This person will work hand-in-hand with the Paris teams (Operations, Product, General Management etc) to find the recipe for success.

The position is based in Paris for the first months. Once the proof of concept is reached, the Country Launcher will then relocate in Spain (Barcelonaor Madrid) and open a local office.

Key Results:

1- Find & manage the 25+ first power users in Spain to gather product feedbacks and identify the best market (territories & industries) to address first ;

2- Replicate what works to reach 100 paying customers within 3-4 months ;

3- Reach 100K€ MRR within 12 months ;

4- Hire a top-performing local team (Sales, Customer Success, Support) in compliance with the budget and defined timeline that will convey Skello’s unique culture ;

5- Demonstrate Cient success by achieving a monthly churn rate below 1.5%, and a NPS above +40 ;

6- Streamline the revenue engine and demonstrate strong level of sales KPIs, homogeneity over time & team members.

Requirements:

This unique job requires a very wide array of skills, and a very particular mindset : resilient, entrepreneurial, autonomous, and analytical.
This is a very demanding, but highly rewarding position, where you will be in charge of building a team & building the brand in the country.


Preferred experience

  • 5+ years of experience including a successful experience in Sales or Business Development and/or Company creation.
  • Previous experience implementing successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Good understanding of SaaS business mechanisms and SaaS Sales processes.
  • High level of familiarity with the Spanish market and business culture from working or living in Spain.
  • You are energetic, and resilient, able to build, lead and coach people.
  • An entrepreneur at heart, you are able to build ideas from scratch and deliver results. You take accountability for mistakes and constantly try to learn & grow.
  • You are excited about joining a fast-paced early-stage project in which it’s up to you to Plan Your Success

Languages:

  • Spanish: native or fluent (C2)
  • English: C1+
  • French is a strong plus
