Job description

The B2B team at SINGULART works closely with interior designers and architects to bring art to every type of interior design project. We are seeking a dynamic and sales-driven Chinese native-speaker to join our team as a Business Developer. Your primary responsibility will be to support our team to expand SINGULART’s presence within the interior design industry in China. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our network, cultivating long-lasting client relations and bringing in qualified sales leads.

Your Missions:

Lead Prospecting

- Identify and target Chinese interior designers and architects through strategic outreach.

- Develop and maintain partnership opportunities to strengthen the presence of SINGULART on the Chinese market.

- Maintain SINGULART’s presence on Chinese social media platforms such as WeChat and Weibo.

Lead Conversion

- Manage a high-value prospect portfolio by establishing a comprehensive follow-up schedule.

- Foster close client relationships through effective communication, adapting and transmitting files in Chinese, and supporting client presentations.

- Support Senior Sales Managers in converting high-value sales leads and make your own sales

Post-Sale

- Collaborate with Senior Sales Managers to execute post-sale administrative tasks, such as invoicing.

- Keep clients informed about the status of their orders in a proactive manner.

- Effectively address and manage any post-sale issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Oversee import / export of artworks with our importer in China

What we are looking for

  • At least 6 months - 1 year successful sales experiences in Chinese market, preferably in B2B sectors
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build close relationships with clients and adapt communication styles accordingly
  • Organization: Proven organizational skills for effective prospect follow-ups.
  • Sales driven: Not afraid of taking actions to convert sales
  • Knowledge of Chinese social media: Familiarity with WeChat and Weibo; adept at crafting platform-specific content.
  • Industry Experience: Background in contemporary art or interior design is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: Native Chinese speaker with fluent English communication skills.
