The position

Job description

You will have a big part to play in the way the company is communicating and presenting itself to our clients, artists and every other stakeholder through your role in both the marketing and the branding/communication team. Your focus will be our Japanese audience. Indeed, Singulart launched in Japan a year ago and we are willing to expand our presence in the country.🗾

Your responsibilities will include:

Brand

  • Work on the Brand Book and Brand Platform for Japan (tone of voice, typo, do’s and don’ts)
  • Launch our Magazine in Japanese (both SEO and brand objectives)
  • Help on various translations in Japanese: new features on singulart.com, Newsletter for collectors, collections, press…
  • Improve our templates in Japanese
  • Produce content for our Magazine in Japanese, conduct interviews with Japanese collectors or people of interest for our audience
  • Participate in the Brand Team and bring your creative ideas onto our various projects (partnerships, auctions, social media, artists community management…)

Webmarketing

  • Improve our ads - FB + Google (remarketing , acquisition, display)
  • Work on increasing our SEO optimization in Japan by optimizing keywords in our content or by hunting for backlinks on Japanese platforms, blogs, magazines and other websites
  • Work on increasing our Facebook conversion rate by striking the right message for our Japanese audience
  • Help us improve other search campaigns and keywords

Operations

  • Help the Singulart team to understand Japanese collectors (market study, analysis of data, discussions with our collectors)
  • Depending on the needs (if we experiment a peak of sales in Japan!!), you might jump in some operational tasks related to the sales we make to Japan, to support our team of Sales Managers.

Preferred experience

  • Native Japanese speaker
  • Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Interested in the current Art Market
  • Organized ; project management skills
  • Autonomous and proactive : you like to take initiatives and get things done
  • An experience in Marketing and/or Editorial is a plus
  • Knowledge of SEO practices is a plus
  • Willing to be full-time based in Paris (office next to the Montparnasse Train Station)
