The position

Job description

As our The Head of Finance, you will play a critical role in steering the financial and legal aspects of Sim&Cure. This position is ideal for an accomplished professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and possesses a comprehensive understanding of financial management and legal compliance within the MedTech sector.
 
Responsibilities
1.     Financial Strategy and Management:
-       Develop and execute financial strategies that support the company’s growth objectives.
-       Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis to guide decision-making.
-       Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
-       Coordinate the consolidation and control of financial data from our headquarter in France and our subsidiaries.
-       Ensure accurate and timely reporting of consolidated financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
 
2.     Legal and Compliance:
-       Provide legal guidance and support to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the MedTech industry.
-       Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
-       Manage intellectual property matters, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.

3.     Strategic Leadership:
-       Collaborate with the executive team to shape the company’s overall strategic direction.
-       Offer insights and recommendations on key business decisions, investment opportunities, and potential risks.
 
4.     Stakeholder Relations:
-       Build and maintain relationships with external partners, legal advisors and financial institutions.
 


Preferred experience

Qualifications
·      Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or JD preferred.
·      Ideally experiences in Audit + Transaction Services + previous Operational Experience in a start-up.
·      Proven track record of success in financial management and legal roles, preferably within a start Up environment.
·      Strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance frameworks.
·      Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
·      Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
·      Entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability to a dynamic startup environment.
