As a Senior Product Designer at Sifflet, your mission is to transform powerful, highly technical data observability concepts into an intuitive, elegant, and cohesive user experience. You won’t just be designing interfaces; you’ll be creating the very environment our customers use to build trust in their most critical data assets.
This role is for a designer who thrives on complexity and is passionate about empowering users. You will bridge the gap between our diverse user base—from deeply technical Data Engineers to data-aware Business Executives—ensuring the Sifflet platform is not only powerful but also a joy to use.
Here’s a taste of the design challenges you might own:
Designing for AI Collaboration: How do we best visualize insights from our GenAI agents? You will design the conversational and visual interfaces that allow users to interact with, trust, and guide an AI performing automated root-cause analysis and recommending solutions.
Simplifying Deeply Technical Workflows: How do we make the process of creating a complex data quality monitor on a petabyte-scale table feel intuitive, without sacrificing the power and control our expert users demand?
Visualizing Complex Data Stories: You will be challenged to transform abstract concepts like end-to-end data lineage, schema changes, and quality score trends into clear, interactive visualizations that tell a compelling story to both technical and business audiences.
Evolving our Design System: You will be a key champion for our design system, driving its evolution and adoption to ensure consistency, quality, and development efficiency across our entire product suite as it scales.
What You’ll Do:
Own the Design Process: Lead design projects from discovery and research through to wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity mockups, and final handoff to engineering.
Deeply Understand Our Users: Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gain profound insights into the workflows, pain points, and needs of our diverse personas.
Collaborate to Innovate: Partner closely with Product Managers to define user problems and opportunities, and collaborate with Engineers to ensure your design vision is implemented with high quality.
Articulate Your Vision: Clearly present and defend your design decisions, using your understanding of user needs, business goals, and design principles as a foundation.
Elevate the Design Practice: Act as a mentor to other team members, contribute to a strong design culture, and continuously push for a higher bar of quality and user-centricity.
Who We’re Looking For:
Proven Senior B2B SaaS Designer: You have extensive experience (ideally 5+ years) designing complex, data-rich B2B SaaS applications. You understand the nuances of enterprise software, long user lifecycles, and multifaceted workflows.
A Portfolio of Complex Problem-Solving: You have a strong portfolio that showcases your ability to tackle complex B2B challenges and deliver elegant, user-centered solutions.
Master of User Empathy: You are adept at designing for a wide spectrum of users, from highly technical engineers to business executives, and can gracefully balance their differing needs within a single product experience.
Systems Thinker: You don’t just design screens; you design scalable systems. You have experience building or contributing significantly to a mature design system.
Exceptional Interaction and Visual Design Skills: You have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of interaction design principles, typography, layout, and data visualization.
Proactive and Autonomous: You are a self-starter who can manage complex projects from ambiguity to completion, driving the design process forward with confidence.
Why You’ll Love Working at Sifflet (Beyond the Exciting Challenges!):
Be an Owner: We offer a competitive salary and meaningful Employee Stock Options (ESOP), because we’re all building Sifflet together.
Health & Wellbeing First: Benefit from top-tier health insurance and a Gymlib subscription to support your physical and mental wellbeing.
