Qevlar is B2B SaaS startup that strives to massively increase the productivity of cybersecurity teams. We develop AI Cybersecurity Analysts that augment Security Operations Centers (SOCs). Since our creation 2 years ago, we have:
We're now looking for our first full-time (CDI) People Operations Specialist to help us structure, support, and elevate our fast-growing team in Paris.
You’ll be leading design within the product team, working closely with product managers, engineers, and our customers to define and deliver the product experience and solution. This role is ideal for someone who’s confident owning end-to-end design in a fast-moving environment, from research to user analysis, and passionate about turning complex workflows into elegant, intuitive experiences.
We want to make outstanding product design a source of competitive advantage for Qevlar AI, and this role is pivotal in achieving that ambition.
We're looking for an individual with a deep background in and knowledge of product design, human centered design, UX and UI principles and effective application of them. You'll be ready to set the design direction and vision, as well as the execution work behind bringing designs to life with engineering and product teams.
Visionary Design: Collaborate closely to bring coherence and clarity to a still-evolving product, and translate this vision into a user-friendly interface; there’s no existing standard to follow as we’re at the forefront of a new product space.
Understand and translate workflows into solutions: Understand the complex nature of the work our clients do, develop an understanding of the work, to design solutions that deliver real value and insight.
Prototyping & Iteration: Develop and refine prototypes, adapting and evolving them based on feedback and product direction. Utilising the most effective and advanced tools in the space to reduce time from ideation to demonstration, and then engineering iteration.
Pragmatic Aesthetics: While we value visually pleasing designs, we understand that the price of perfection is infinite, so you'll be able to balance aesthetics with practicality an delivering outcomes.
Collaboration: Partner with software engineers, product, and customers to ensure that design concepts are feasible and align with product and customer goals. Being able to justify decisions with research, data, and effective practices from the design space, and defend directions for the product.
You’re a self-starter who can work without rigid processes or constant direction. You’re comfortable figuring things out on your own but also work well with teams to get things done together.
You focus on what works. You know that getting something good and functional out the door is often better than chasing perfection. You’re not afraid of unclear situations—you like learning new things and turning messy problems into clear solutions.
You communicate clearly and avoid jargon. You can explain your design choices, why they make sense, and how you’ll know if they’re working. You’re open to feedback and flexible when things change, especially in fast-moving, early-stage environments.
You’re a team player who knows that great products come from working together with clear buy-in and alignment.
These companies are also recruiting for the position of “User Experience (UX) and Design”.
