We are a growing team looking for a Commercial Analyst in the Analytics, Strategy and Planning department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Berlin, Paris or Amsterdam office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO …

The Commercial Analyst, Strategy and Planning team shapes data-driven business development. It implements changes related to analytics across the commercial organization coordinating actions with product for sales and counterparts in the other business units.

The team supports the commercial organization through a mixture of recurring tasks and data-driven projects. A typical week may include executing a quarterly sales incentive, preparing and leading a monthly commercial review with the team, and implementing changes to our data models so that we can improve the way we store and share data with the teams.

We seek a tech-savvy specialist eager to tackle sales, customer, and operational challenges. They should excel in formalizing requirements, partnering with the product team, and making data accessible for actionable insights in the realms of data, sales, and logistics.

From day one you will be a trusted partner to deliver actionable metrics and relied upon to provide guidance on a variety of complex data and commercial issues. In this role, you will...

• Scale: Create and manage comprehensive reporting models that are easily understandable for stakeholders at different levels.
• Planning: Build and maintain financial and headcount models, operational reporting, OKRs, projections, and key business metrics to update the leadership and the entire organization on the evolving aspects of the business.
• Process Improvement: Identify significant data opportunities and risks, formalize the requirements, deliver the solutions, and ensure the adoption by commercial users.
• Program/Project Management: Be a resourceful, go-getting multitasker, supporting initiatives across the business by working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop Relationships: Collaborate with other functional areas (Product, Carrier, Operations, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to ensure efficient and productive working relationships.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in one of the following: consulting, business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields. Preferably also the experience in high-growth operations or startups.
• Analytical Skills: Experience in defining user-friendly solutions for complex topics using an analytical and data-driven approach.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with Business Intelligence tools like Looker, PowerBI, and Tableau. Experience with Python and DBT is a plus.
• Collaboration and Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams, contributing to the development of roadmaps and fostering a cohesive work environment. Clear and concise communication skills to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Adaptability and Efficiency: Ability to balance attention to both the big picture and details, with a focus on swift execution and adaptability to future changes. Self-starter attitude, proficient in self-serving, investigating, and efficiently obtaining required data.
• Education and Language: Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree is preferred. Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Industry Exposure: Preferred experience in Logistics and/or tech industries. Exposure and/or experience in B2C/B2B marketplaces is a plus.
