The position

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Tech & Product department and manage our dynamic and talented engineering team. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the execution of our product roadmap, ensuring the team’s efficiency, and fostering their professional growth. If you have a passion for cybersecurity, a solid technical background, and proven leadership skills, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to the forefront of the battle against cyber threats.

Your missions :

  • Lead and manage a diverse team of engineers, promoting their professional growth and creating a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, ensuring their skill development and career progression.

  • Collaborate closely with the HR department to oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new engineering team members, ensuring a smooth integration into the team.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement or additional training.

  • Promote a “you built it, you run it” mindset, empowering team members to take ownership of their work and learn from both successes and setbacks.

  • Place the user at the forefront, ensuring that the team always starts from our user needs and requirements when designing and developing solutions.

  • Collaborate with the Head of Engineering to contribute to the technology strategy, aligning it with business goals and driving continuous improvement.

📍The position can be based in Paris, in Rennes or in remote. Business trips (paid for by the company) can be required.


Preferred experience

  • You have at least 2 years of experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role within a software development organization, preferably in the cybersecurity domain.

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • You have a proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

  • You have a strong technical background with experience in software engineering or related fields.

  • You have an excellent understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to apply them effectively to software development processes.

  • You are familiar with monorepo approaches, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.

  • You have experience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code is highly desirable.

  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.

  • You can speak French and English

  • You have a passion for cybersecurity and a desire to contribute to the ongoing battle against cyber threats.
