This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company having the ambition to win the Digital Asset Management and Image Optimization market. To achieve our ambitious goals, we are looking to grow our international Team with a Global Solution Engineer / Customer Success.

If you are a (former) Developer / Network Administrator, passionned about understanding customer challenges and helping them with their resolution in order to drive adoption of our products, then this position is for you.

Specific responsibilities include

Hand in hand with the Global Services and Support team, your scope of action will include:

  • Support Sales team in pre-sales calls with prospective customers with demos and requirement gathering,
  • Conduct proof of concepts (PoCs) after thorough analysis of the prospect’s requirements and definition of success criteria,
  • Ensure successful PoCs and help customers move into production,
  • Write or adapt migration scripts for data migration as part of the customer onboarding process,
  • Report and troubleshoot technical issues,
  • Share feedback requirements for new features to R&D,
  • Act as a bridge between customers and R&D to ensure that delivered features address customer needs.

  • Quick learner
  • Fully proficient in English and French (C1+ level), Spanish is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in backend development (PHP, Python, bash scripting) and networks (load balancing, distributed computing, security, object storage)
  • 1+ year of experience as pre-sales engineer / solution engineer in a SaaS company, ideally B2B
  • Comfortable with high-end exposure to C-level executives, ability to build strong trusted relationships
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Passion for Cloud and SaaS products
  • Bachelor in Science degree is a nice-to-have, and a sense of humor is an absolute must

Recruitment process

1) First call with our VP Global Service and Customer Support. If it’s a mutual fit, you’ll receive a task to prepare and present on round 2.
2) Meeting with the Founders to present your work on the task and discuss the outputs with them. Case study live.
3) If both sides are convinced this could be a match, you will get into the shoes of a Solution engineer at Scaleflex while spending a day with the Scaleflex Team and going through various case studies. This step is important to mutually assess 3 things: skills/experience, personality and cultural fit.
