Job description

Summary 

As a Sales Training and Upskilling Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing training and upskilling program to enhance the skills and performance of sales teams worldwide. The position requires previous experience in sales, training and coaching, communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities 

You will be part of the RevOps team and report to a Sales Enablement Manager. Your main responsibilities include:

Training Program Development and Delivery

  • Analyze and assess sales training needs.
  • Design and develop sales training paths and related resources on SBS’s products, services and processes to enable sales teams to achieve their targets.  
  • Conduct training programs (workshops and seminars) using various training methods.

Onboarding Program

  • Ensure new sales hires receive a proper onboarding and training program that enable them to be successful in their role.
  • Track the onboarding process execution and related KPIs.

Sales Metrics and Reporting

  • Track & monitor progress to ensure sales teams meet target and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Provide reports, insights, and improvement opportunities to leadership teams in order to proactively adapt training programs to C&G medium- and long-term objectives.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Collaborate with SBS University and SBS HR to align training and upskilling with SBS organizational goals and policies.
  • Work closely with sales teams to adjust training as necessary.

Market & Product Knowledge

  • Stay updated on market trends and innovation to continuously improve training programs and ensure they reflect industry changes.

  • Organizational Skills: Effective planning, scheduling, and coordination skills to ensure smooth implementation and maximum impact of training programs and resources.
  • Motivational Skills: Ability to encourage and inspire trainees to embrace learning, improve performance, and achieve their goals within the sales domain.
  • Customer Focus: Capacity to understand the importance of customer satisfaction and incorporate customer-centric strategies into the training process to enhance sales approaches.

Your profile 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in Sales, Presales or Business Development.
  • Proven experience with training methodologies and learning principles. Training certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems, e-learning platforms, and other training technologies to deliver training in a modern and efficient manner.
  • Love to work in an international environment and willing to travel as required.
  • Fluency in English and French is essential
