It was in 1968 that Puig acquired the license for Paco Rabanne perfumes and paved the way/set the stage for decades of memorable perfumes. In 1969, Calandre, a daring floral scent that challenged traditional perfumery, was born. Paco Rabanne retired from the scene and Puig, now owner of the fashion and fragrance business of the house, is focused on creating and launching a series of successful fragrances. A worldwide success which was confirmed by the XS franchise, 1 Million, Lady Million, Invictus and Olympea fragrances. Perfumes that will shake people's minds both with their olfactory creations and their aesthetic bias, which are anchored in modernity.

Even, 25 years after their launch, these icons continue to rank among the Top 10 best-selling fragrances in most international markets. Puig reinvented the fragrances through the prism of the designer's extravagant creativity. In 2017 Puig launched Scandal! a new perfume signed by l’enfant terrible de la mode. With Puig, Jean Paul Gaultier has begun a daring new chapter for his brand.

Puig acquired the label’s ready-to-wear in 1995, bringing Carolina Herrera fragrances and fashion together under its ownership.

Carolina Herrera turned to Puig when she decided to create her first fragrance, “the invisible accessory” to use her own expression. True to the spirit of the designer's singular worlds, the Eau de Parfum Carolina Herrera is a bouquet of jasmine and tuberose launched in 1988. Widely acclaimed, the fragrance marked the beginning of a long series of successes for Puig and Carolina Herrera. Over the years, the label's perfume business has grown to include more than 20 fragrances sold in over 100 countries around the world.
