Quentin is 31 years old, married with 1 (almost 2) children. At Pennylane, he is a double-hatted founder and CTO.
Pennylane is his second entrepreneurial venture. He founded Price Match with Arthur and Tancrède, the CPO when they left school. What he remembers from his first company "recruiting is the nerd of the war!"
He is a polyglot, loves to write and speak multiple languages. He started programming on his Ti-83+ before he graduated high school. His favorite programming languages are SQL and Ruby. He is also an adept of foreign languages, he had several international experiences: in China where he studied Chinese in engineering school and worked there. He then lived in Amsterdam, Santiago and San Francisco.
Fun fact: it is thanks to him that Pennylane has its headquarters in Cherbourg.
A student in economics and econometrics at Sciences Po and Ecole Polytechnique, Arthur founded PriceMatch at the age of 22 with some friends. PriceMatch is an algorithm that predicts future demand and provides price recommendations to hotels. They were acquired by Booking.com in May 2015, and integrated into its new B2B software suite for hotels, called BookingSuite.
He founded Pennylane in 2019 with some of the founding team of PriceMatch. Pennylane's goal: to build the first technology tool that is both the accountant's production tool and his client's steering tool, to simplify business management and enable efficient, real-time collaboration between accountants and executives.
Charlotte studied political science and economics, lived in Canada, the United States, the Philippines and Spain and tried her hand at entrepreneurship. She then joined Criteo as a data analyst before discovering the existence of the product manager job, which she loves. At Pennylane, she works with the design and tech teams to imagine and build a product that meets the needs of clients, accountants or business leaders.
She loves to discover new ideas, new people and especially to debate around a beer.
After graduating from business school, Sonia worked in the media industry for 5 years as an account executive. She also created a healthy and eco responsible catering company.
After her entrepreneurial adventure, she then joined the startup world in foodtech before joining the Pennylane teams where she helps restaurant owners in the optimization and management of their accounting
Sonia has a passion for the Food universe, if you want good addresses or original recipes to eat well, never hesitate to ask her. She also has some talents behind the stove.
Graduated in 2018 from a business school, Nicolas has been evolving in the startup world for 3 years: first via elinoï, a recruitment firm specialized in startups, then via Payfit, an HR tech that has now grown up nicely.
At the end of 2020, seduced by the potential of the Pennylane product and the vision of its founders, he decided to join the adventure as the first recruiter.
Extraverted, passionate about human relations and psychology, Nicolas finds his happiness in recruiting and the many people he gets to know on a daily basis.
He loves to discuss recruitment or business in general, but also sports / esports, personal development or philosophy.
