Eight years after our launch in 2015 in Paris, more than 1,5 millions users in France, Spain and Italy, a growth from 2 to 900 employees, the opening of 3 new offices in Reims, Barcelona and Warsaw, we are now at a turning point in our growth with the upcoming launching of thrilling projects.

Today, we are at a turning point in our growth and have recently launched a strategic new business unit aiming at generating more than 50% of papernest revenues within 18 months. This new business unit is now successfully live in France and we are looking for a strong profile to extend it to Spain.

To crack on the corresponding entrepreneurial challenges, we are looking for a Head of New Business Unit in Spain.

Driving your own business unit P&L, you are empowered to make a strategic impact for papernest : this is a true and rare entrepreneurial opportunity!

Are you ready to join the adventure ?

⚡️As a Head of New Business Unit, you will be responsible of :

Handling the strategic vision and the overall roadmap,

Your own P&L, business plan and resource allocation, based on a top down and operational view of the business,

Managing launches and scale through structured and rigorous project management, coordinating in and out of BU teams,

Defining with product and tech teams the product roadmap based on your in-depth & 360° understanding of the business, and developing a detailed understanding of our product architecture,

Coordinating with Data, CRM and finance teams

If turns out necessary, hiring and structuring your team.

🔎 About you :

We are looking for a versatile profile able to quickly learn & master a wide variety of topics, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and sharing our Lean startup culture.

Business or engineering school background 

At least 3 years of experience in a start-up/scale-up and/or as a consultant 

Native from Spain 

Fluent in English

Former entrepreneurial experience is a big plus

Experience in a top-tier consulting firm also is a plus

Strong analytical profile

Great structuring & problem solving skills

Entrepreneurial spirit: business unit owner, need a get it done mindset

Capacity to oversee, understand and manage a wide variety of subjects and activities (legal, admin, sourcing, operations support, financial modelization, etc.)
