The position

Job description

Since 2015, papernest has been transforming the way people manage their contracts, making subscription, management, and switching simple through one smart, intuitive platform.

We have supported more than 2 million customers across France, Spain, and Italy. Along the way, we have continued to invest in new verticals, establishing papernest as a high-performing, innovative, and competitive scale-up in a fast-growing market.

With over 900 employees, we are strengthening our position as a European market leader.

As a B2C Performance & Operations Intern, you will take part in our B2C inbound telco acquisition like a mini business unit : you own the KPIs, pinpoint what’s failing, and pull the levers - staffing allocation, operating routines, and reporting - to improve funnel conversion, processing cost, and capacity planning across production sites.

The position is open from July for 6 months.

Your responsibilities :

  • Own the BU performance cockpit: a single source of truth for conversion, processing cost, volumes, capacity, and site allocation. Weekly routines, clean definitions.

  • Pilot staffing/allocation across production sites (with your manager): recommend where to put volume to maximize conversion-to-cost efficiency, and explain the trade-offs in plain language.

  • Be the go-to person for the aggregate: when someone asks “what’s happening on B2C Telco inbound?”, you answer with numbers + diagnosis + next move.

  • Work hand-in-hand with our Ops Mgmt BPO teams: ensure the operating cadence exists (weekly performance sync, action tracking, escalation when quality or cost drifts).

  • Drive pragmatic improvements: tighten reporting, remove friction in data flows, standardise routines, and push for decisions that move conversion and reduce € / client.

Your profile :

  • Native-level French fluency

  • Analytical muscle: you can manipulate data, build dashboards, and turn noise into decisions (Excel/Sheets solid; SQL/Looker/Metabase is a plus).

  • Operational rigor: you track actions, owners, and deadlines; you don’t “follow up”, you close loops.

  • Business sense: you can reason in unit economics (conversion → cost → margin logic) and defend a recommendation.

Mindset :

  • Extreme ownership: you don’t outsource responsibility.

  • Bias to action: default to “What’s the next concrete move?”

  • Resilience: setbacks happen; you don’t give up, you iterate.

  • Pragmatic truth-teller: you call out drift early with facts, not vibes.

What we offer :

  • A rare internship: you’ll help manage an entire business unit’s results.

  • Massive learning curve at the junction of acquisition → ops → outsourced sales execution.

  • Real exposure to how BPO operations are run (cadence, staffing, performance management) across multiple sites.

  • A manager who will actually use your work: if your analysis is good, it will drive staffing and ops decisions.

Evolve in an international and inclusive environment: everyone has a place at papernest, and with more than 46 different nationalities, it's not uncommon here to start a sentence in English and finish it en français o en español ¡

💸 Compensation & partnerships: your talent deserves to be rewarded! Enjoy a competitive compensation for your internship (800€ per month). We value every contribution and are committed to offering attractive remuneration for your efforts and dedication. Also, with your papernest badge, you will have access to various partner services (restaurants, wellness centers, mobility...).

🍽️ Meals: a healthy and balanced breakfast is offered every Tuesday!

📈 Career Development: at our company, interns are not just “photocopy-coffee” assistants! As a full-fledged team member, you're here to learn, but also to share your ideas and implement projects. You'll be supported throughout your journey to maximize your skills and prepare for your future.

Remote Work: enjoy 1 day of remote work per week to optimize your focus and efficiency.

Hiring process:

  • First call with Camille, Talent Acquisition specialist (30 mins)

  • Interview manager with Cordélia (1h)

  • Business Case (2 hours preparation)

  • Last step : Business case restitution with Cordélia
