Job description

🔎Context of the role:

As part of the Customer Experience team, you will participate to the development of the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) data processing toolchain for fuel efficiency. You will work with binary data to feed our product with the flight data of our customers.

🏋️‍♂️The main missions are to :

  • Implement new customers data processing from binary flight data

  • Develop new features for our flight data processing toolchain

  • Develop monitoring tools for the flight data processing toolchain

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the team and to R&D of the company

🌟Requirements & skills:

  • Good development skills especially in Java and solid experience in Python (with minimum 2 years of experience)

  • Engineering degree with a major in computer science

  • Ability to integrate existing products, to propose improvements and innovative solutions

  • Excellent team spirit, ability to think out of the box

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to design and develop tests to ensure quality

  • Experience handling ARINC 717 or ARINC 767 data would be a plus

  • Aviation background (a plus but not mandatory)

Recruitment process

Our hiring process:

  1. Introduction call: Our Recruiter will tell you more about OpenAirlines, and get to know you better, your background, and your interests

  2. Technical interview: During this step we want to get deeper into your technical knowledge, during a meeting with Pierre-Selim.

  3. Final step: Final interview with the manager : Thomas and the HR: Vérane, in our office.
