The position

Job description

This is an position in our Global team based in Prague, working on our prestigious automotive account.
The position became available because of the promotion of the current Market Engagement Director.
It will be an exciting and challenging position working for one of the world’s largest and most dynamic international clients.
This is a multi-faceted role, so it requires an understanding of how a big account is run and how the different disciplines work together to further develop client’s business.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

• Primary point of contact to client’s Media Director with regards to reporting and requests.
• Work with the Market Engagement / Reporting Managers to deliver timely and accurate central reports.
• Proactively look for new solutions and improvements in the areas of central reporting, communicating with markets, best practice sharing etc.
• Support the central Strategy team to help land strategies and guidelines into local markets.
• Support the GAD and Strategy team in running client projects – eg budgeting exercises, market entry recommendations etc.
• Development of central post-buy activity summaries after main launches, using local post buys, learnings and best practice.
• Responsible for further developing our case study library and ensure that best practice is cascaded.
• Go-to person for the local market PHD teams, for any help or support they may need from the central team, along the full range of disciplines.


Preferred experience

• 7+ years’ experience in an international media account management role – ideally you have demonstrable hands-on local market experience gained in your career
• The Market Engagement Director must have a thorough working understanding of channel planning and execution across all major media communication channels.
• A good understanding of marketing tech and how it is developing
• Strong on account management, proactive and organised
• A strong personality with good presentation skills who deals confidently with clients and local PHD counterparts
• Must be a credible, trustworthy and diplomatic communicator - able to rapidly build a strong rapport with the markets and ensure they are always up to date.
• Will be a tight project manager and unflappable during peak periods.
• The langue of communication with Clients and the team is English, therefore excellent command of English is required, written and spoken.

• Although Automotive experience would be an advantage – more important is that you have worked with progressive and complex clients.
• International experience would be an advantage but not a prerequisite.
