Job description

Sales at October:

The October Connect team is expanding! We are looking for a Sales Executive to strengthen our Sales Team for our brand new BtoB Saas solution.

You are a tech-savvy, highly motivated and French speaking professional with experience in SaaS sales? This mission is for you!

In 2021 we launched a new activity, October Connect, which is our SME-lending platform made available to other financial institutions. We have developed 2 modules available as a Saas: a Fraud and a Risk module that can be used by any financial institutions to improve financial risk analysis, fraud detection and decision automation.

Your daily work:

As the first dedicated Sales Executive of October Connect, your missions will include:

  • Pipe building & nurturing: identify, qualify & nurture prospects for the two Connect modules
  • Be able to demonstrate October’s product capabilities to customers during live demos, written presentations, etc.
  • Deal closing support: help in contracting
  • Organisational skills: maintain CRM, market benchmark, etc.
  • Proactivity and creativity in conveying October Connect’s unique value proposition to customers and handle objections. Work of close coordination with the Product and Marketing teams.
  • Leadership: selling a new product doesn’t scare you and you are ready to build a team that will count significantly in October’s P&L.

This job is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on a major European Scale-Up: you will be launching a new Business Unit leveraging your entrepreneurial skills while benefiting from the ressources of an established FinTech.

Preferred experience

Your skills:

  • You have min. 2 years of experience in sales in a Saas / tech environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English - a third language (Spanish, Italian, Dutch or German) is a plus
  • You are passionate about technology and like working with digital tools
  • You are objective-driven and ambitious
  • You are a self-starter who can effectively work independently with little or no supervision
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit, positive attitude and you love working with people
  • Resilience and can take the pressure: senior management exposure externally and internally
