Job description
Your role in the team :
Reporting to the Italian Operations Manager, the Collection & Recovery Manager will ensure the smooth running of October Italy’s collection operations. Your main tasks will include, but are not limited to :
Collection and litigation:
- Monitoring monthly repayments of borrowers performing 1st level collection actions (calls / emails) Preparing collection files (formal notices, suspension of payment, legal proceedings) and reporting Managing legal procedure operations (participation in conciliation meetings, debt declarations, etc.) Maintaining relations with judicial representatives and administrators on the claims of - October lenders carrying out legal and regulatory monitoring
Operations:
- Drafting of loan agreements and creation of projects for online publication; Checking of securities and guarantees of loan files, compliance and AML requirements, including verification of contractual documentation in accordance with internal procedures and banking regulations; Processing of customer requests throughout the loan life cycle (contract, invoices, repayments)
- Management of projects related to the Operation department (process improvements, IT developments etc.)
Preferred experience
Desired experience :
- Graduated, with at least 3 years of professional experience in the financial/banking/FinTech sectors
Knowledge and skills:
- Higher education in the field of Economic Law;
- Ability to work in international cross-functional teams in English
- Knowledge of civil and criminal procedures, litigation, pre-litigation, guarantee enforcement;
- Knowledge of banking products is a plus;
- Good communication skills (oral and written);
- Ability to thrive in a high-intensity environment where you will have to manage several tasks and responsibilities simultaneously;
