They negotiate with a variety of people, such as agents, owners, company representants, international organizations, and are expected to have excellent customer service skills in dealing with clients and diferent stakeholders. Export managers are responsible for personnel management, which includes hiring, training and supervision of staff.
In their accounting function, export managers may keep track of invoices and prepare reports the billing process and the diferent KPi to the general management. They may also have to ensure that the development of the local subsidiary are in compliance with the local laws and regulations.
