The position

Job description

As Modjo’s first Talent Acquisition Manager your job will be to ensure we hire the best talent to scale the company. In this capacity, you’ll be reporting directly to Paul, our CEO.

Your success will depend upon being capable of :

  • Filling each and everyone of the roles entrusted to you with the best talent available out there, constantly liaising with relevant stakeholders.
  • Acting as an Ambassador for the brand & company with candidates especially on social media.
  • Creating love at first sight with candidates by acting as a reliable partner for them. We want to craft an unparalleled candidate experience by keeping them constantly appraised of the latest developments.
  • Conducting the kind of interviews that root out poor performers or bad colleagues and allow for top performers and team players to shine.
  • Placing strong emphasis on sourcing and attracting the very best candidates.
  • Building strong processes from the ground up to systematically vet, screen and analyze candidates.
  • Producing detailed, data-driven reporting on hiring objectives.
  • Being on the lookout for the latest ideas, tools and best practices in the HR/People space.
  • Coming up with new ways of hiring people : we’re big fans of skill-based hiring.

Preferred experience

  • You’re a people-first, candidate-centric Talent Acquisition Manager/Specialist who recognizes the importance of bringing out the best in every candidate you interview.
  • You have previous experience as a TAM or (very) strong drive to jumpstart a career in the space.
  • You don’t have to be sold on the importance of employer branding or candidate experience.
  • Juggling between several open roles doesn’t scare you. You relish the opportunity to take the lead and bring new people into the fold at breakneck speed.
  • Eager to give everything to be always on time. You rely on your exceptional written and oral communication skills to align all stakeholders and build a smooth hiring process.
  • You understand the importance of making a great impression from the get-go and throughout the process in order to attract the very best candidates.
  • You’re not afraid of speaking-up, giving stern advice to a hiring managers or venturing out of your comfort zone (for example: learning about design if you’re filling a design role).
