The Head of Talent position:

We are looking for a Head of Talent to lead our recruitment efforts and elevate our team to new heights. Your primary objective will be to architect a robust hiring strategy and foster team growth.

You'll play a pivotal role in our mission to scale from 55 to 80 employees by year's end, with even greater challenges awaiting us in the years ahead. It's essential not to underestimate the scale of this strive; our position in the drug discovery field necessitates exceptional strategic recruitment skills, especially in a competitive market for engineering and science talent.

About the team you’ll join:

You will report directly to Marion Birolini, Head of People, who brings over ten years of experience in human resources within the French tech ecosystem. Currently, our team includes a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who works closely with our team members to meet their staffing needs.

Your role :

We are seeking a strategic professional to lead the development of our recruitment strategy. This role will involve:

- Hiring Machine Projects (30%): Lead key projects aimed at optimizing our hiring processes, such as enhancing candidate experience, improving employer branding, refining documentation, and establishing a recruitment academy to enhance the skills of hiring managers.

- Talent Analytics (25%): Provide regular reports on recruitment efficiency and establish recruitment objectives based on data analysis.

- Recruitment (20%): Collaborate with founders to recruit C-level positions and other strategic roles. Oversee your team closely to ensure progress on other positions.

- Build a talent Acquisition Strategy (15%): Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with Aqemia's business objectives and growth plans.

- Team Management (10%): Manage a Senior Talent Acquisition professional, including setting clear objectives, tracking progress, providing coaching, and evaluating performance.

- Partnership Establishment (everyday): Cultivate trusted partnerships across all departments and foster strong relationships with managers and leadership. Utilize your skills to engage partners at every level in recruitment processes and projects.

The skills we are looking for:

- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the recruitment field and have successfully built or scaled a recruitment infrastructure in a startup or scale-up environment.

- You have experience in effectively managing teams.

- You have fluency in English, which is our working language.

- You possess the ability to craft and implement a holistic talent acquisition strategy, demonstrating foresight in predicting future talent requirements and devising proactive approaches to allure top-tier professionals.

- Your proficiency lies in formulating recruitment objectives through meticulous data analysis, ensuring their alignment with the overarching goals and objectives of the organization.

- Your adeptness in project management empowers you to spearhead and synchronize pivotal initiatives aimed at refining the hiring procedures.

1. Discovery call with our research partner

1 bis. Hiring Manager's Interview: You'll have a 45-minutes Google Meet session with Marion, your prospective manager, to introduce yourselves and discuss expectations

2. Business Case Presentation: Prepare your case beforehand, then present it on-site to Marion and an executive leader. Afterward, join Christine, our Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, for a casual coffee chat.

3. Cultural Fit Assessment: Meet with our co-founder and Emmanuelle to gauge cultural alignment.

4. Final Interview: Conclude with a final meeting with our co-founder and CEO, Maximilien
