Meero is currently looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to join the team in Paris. Meero’s legal team is lean, and responsible for the legal work across all the teams and markets where Meero operates. As Junior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing support across the company and giving cross-functional, technical, and practical advice.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Corporate Law and Compliance. You will work on compliance and corporate matters including corporate housekeeping for the headquarters in France and subsidiaries abroad, assistance with the company’s GDPR program and monitoring and reporting on evolutions in the law and/or regulation(s) that may impact the business.
• Commercial Negotiation and Review. The legal team works closely with the sales organization to provide day-to-day advice across different geographies; you will support the other members of the legal team through the negotiation and review of services agreements, order forms, calls for proposals, vendor onboarding documents, NDAs, etc.
• In House Development. You will help develop and maintain training materials, playbooks, and guidelines, and provide practical training to Meero employees on legal matters. You should also be interested in LegalOps and excited to help develop and implement strategies to optimize legal function performance.

• 2 years’ experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department;
• Corporate & Compliance law experience;
• End-to-end contractual sales support experience would be a plus;
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and follow through on various projects concurrently;
• To be proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to continually learn and develop professionally.
• Fluency in French and English. Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese would also be a plus.
