POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of our organization, you will be at the forefront of our core mission: leveraging AI to democratize the access to high-quality & authentic images. Your role will encompass leadership responsibilities, with a particular focus on inspiring and steering our talented technology team.
Drawing upon your expertise in AI, you will drive the engine of innovation within our company. Moreover, your presence as a member of our executive committee will be key in crafting our strategy and guiding the development of the company across all verticals and geographies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tech Vision: Spearhead our tech sector by offering forward-thinking leadership. Direct our AI endeavors to ensure they remain at the forefront of technology.

  • Team Management: Guide and motivate our technology team, which includes AI engineers & researchers, software specialists, devops and data experts. Cultivate an environment of creativity, teamwork, and top-tier performance.

  • Strategy Design: Craft and implement a bold tech roadmap, identifying new avenues for AI tools implementations and directing the creation of AI systems and techniques.

  • Product Creation: Work hand-in-hand with the product team to translate tech potentials into impactful, market-ready offerings.

  • Quality Guardian: Establish and uphold stringent quality control measures, guaranteeing the trustworthiness and precision of our tech outputs.

  • Budget Management:  Oversee the financial aspects of the tech department, ensuring judicious distribution of resources.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with all the teams, including product, sales, marketing and operations, to align technology efforts with business objectives.


Preferred experience

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • At least 10 years of experience managing pretty large technical teams (more than 15 people) on customer-facing products

  • Strong experience in AI research and development or leading AI-driven projects, if possible in the field of image analysis and computer vision

  • Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related field (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision

  • Exceptional ability to find the right balance between product velocity and robustness

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills

  • Strategic thinking and the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Fluent in French and English
