ManoMano, already positioned as European leader in DIY, wants to propose the best online experience in DIY ecommerce. Our company is growing fast and wants to structure its teams. We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer in Paris to join the Marketplace Finance feature team in the Buyers perimeter. 

The Marketplace Finance feature team is responsible for all activities related to the payment of our sellers : marketplace invoices, payment of their sales, financial reports and seller payment backoffice. Our goal is to provide the best seller experience related to the management of their financial flow with ManoMano. 

Your challenge as a Senior Java Backend Engineer will be to work on existing microservices and creating new ones, ensuring a good level of architecture, scalability, robustness, consistency and performance required by using concepts such as idempotency, distributed services, reactive architecture, back pressure and more to guarantee a quality of seller finance service for years to come.

Responsibilities 

You will join a team, composed of 4 Developers + 1 Lead + 1 Product Manager, in order to create, in collaboration with the product team, an amazing experience for the merchants. 

As a senior software engineer in this team, you will have to :

- Design and develop features with a high quality standard

- Assimilate business context and company expectations to be creative and relevant

- Improve the quality technical components

- Deploy your code up to production and be involved in monitoring it

- Coach and help developers to grow and improve

Requirements

 - 4+ years of experience as a backend developer

- Creative / Innovative

- Data Driven in decision making

- Fluent in english

- Autonomous and adaptable (able to work in a constantly changing environment)

- Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a good sense of humor!

- Curious with a strong desire to test and experiment new solutions in your work

- New technologies / e-commerce have no secrets for you
