Job description

🚀 Become a Software Engineer (F/M) at Aramis Group!

At Aramis Group, data is a key enabler of our 2026 vision: becoming the preferred platform for Europeans to buy refurbished cars.
To make this happen, our Data teams — Data Scientists, Data Engineers, ML Engineers and Data Architects — work together to build end-to-end data products on a Best-in-Class technical ecosystem, fully connected to business needs.

We foster a convivial, international and business-driven environment, where teams collaborate daily with buyers, product and field teams across Europe. Our ambition? Create scalable data products used by all entities of the Group to generate measurable customer value.

One of our biggest challenges today is pricing.
Over the past 4 years, we’ve built a powerful pricing data product used by French buyers. Spain and Italy have also developed their own initiatives — and now, we’re taking things to the next level 🚀
👉 Our goal: build a unified Group Pricing Platform in the coming year.

That’s where you come in.

🎯 Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

As a Software & Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, build and operate key backend and data components that enable Aramis Group to source and buy the best cars at the best price, at scale and across countries.

You’ll join an international, multidisciplinary pricing squad, working on state-of-the-art architecture, deployed directly to production by the team through CI/CD.

Concretely, you will:

  • Maintain and develop the Market Observer, our multi-country market data collection platform

  • Design and implement internal web crawlers for automotive listing websites across Europe

  • Integrate and manage third-party data providers, ensuring data quality and reliability

  • Build and maintain deduplication & normalization pipelines to guarantee high-quality pricing data

  • Implement and operate event-driven architectures using message queues for asynchronous processing

  •  Ensure system resilience, preventing data collection failures from impacting pricing production

  • Progressively contribute to pricing algorithms and their optimization (ML & data science)

  • Monitor, troubleshoot and secure production systems to avoid pricing disruptions

🧰 Your playground

  • Backend: Python, FastAPI

  • Data & ML: SQL, Snowflake, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow

  • Architecture: Event-driven systems, RabbitMQ, APIs, Clean / Onion Architecture

  • Infra & DevOps: AWS (ECS), Docker, CI/CD

  • Data collection: Web scraping at scale, internal crawlers, external data partners

The ideal profile? Maybe it’s you if…

✅ You hold a Master’s degree or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
✅ You have 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, backend development or ML engineering
✅ You have strong Python expertise and experience with complex, production-grade codebases
✅ You are comfortable with FastAPI, APIs, Docker and SQL
✅ You have hands-on experience with web scraping / crawling at scale and multiple data sources
✅ You know how to design resilient systems with proper error handling and monitoring
✅ You’ve worked with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar)
✅ You understand data quality challenges (deduplication, normalization, validation)
✅ You enjoy digging deep into problems, beyond surface-level data issues
✅ You are fluent in English and French (Spanish or Italian is a strong plus 🌍)

 Why join Aramis Group?

  • A dynamic and highly skilled team with diverse backgrounds (CentraleSupélec, ENSAI, TSE…)

  • A multidisciplinary environment (architecture, data engineering, ML, data science)

  • Strong business proximity and direct impact on pricing decisions

  • Rich problem space: e-commerce, retail, supply chain, pricing, product analytics

  • A true Group-level role, working with teams across multiple European countries
