In order to support our strong growth, we are looking for a motivated Accounting Specialist, curious and able to integrate quickly to join our Finance team based in London.

Reporting to our Finance Lead, the Accounting Specialist will be predominantly responsible for:

• Maintaining an efficient and accurate Accounts Payable function for UK and Ireland:
  • day to day processing of AP invoices, including pro-active chasing of direct debit invoices.
  • Managing periodic invoice payments.
  • Resolving supplier queries promptly.
  • Ensuring correct VAT treatment of the purchase invoices in both countries.
  • Carrying out monthly supplier reconciliations. 
• Helping with month end tasks (including, but not limited to, maintaining accruals and prepayments schedules, bank reconciliations etc.).
• Liaising with external accountants.

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to progress towards management accounting role as the company grows.

You are recognised and appreciated for your:

• Education to a degree level.
• Studying towards ACCA or similar qualification (min. completed “Applied Knowledge” exams if ACCA). Mangopay can offer study support to the right candidate.
