As our People Operations Advisor for Germany, UK, and Netherlands, you'll be a key player in our Global People Experience team, based in our vibrant Berlin or Munich office.

You'll be the go-to person for all HR administrative matters, delivering top-notch HR service to managers and employees across key European markets.

If you're a caring, motivated team player who's passionate about creating an exceptional employee experience and loves to optimize processes, then this role is for you!

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Employee Lifecycle Management: You'll be the go-to person for our HR processes and documentation, guiding our team members through their journey at Malt.
  • HR Advisory & Compliance: You act as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, manage incoming tickets (JIRA), and ensure compliance with our people policies.
  • Payroll & Partner Coordination: You coordinate payroll operations with external providers and the Finance team, acting as the primary liaison for health insurances, benefit providers, and employment agencies.
  • Precise Documentation: You prepare employment contracts, certificates, and other critical HR documents, meticulously maintaining records within our HRIS (Bamboo HR) and physical archives.
  • Project & Reporting Support: You generate essential reports, provide support to Global Employee Experience colleagues, and contribute to international, cross-functional projects.
  • About you 🧑‍🚀

  • You've got a university degree or comparable education with 2.5+ years of experience in HR administration, with experience in payroll management with external partners and in working with HRIS (e.g. Bamboo HR).
  • You're a fluent communicator in both German and English.
  • You thrive on supporting diverse international teams with a fantastic customer service attitude and a knack for finding solutions.
  • You're a pro at explaining and implementing processes, procedures, and tools with clarity and determination.
  • You're super self-organized, have an eagle eye for detail, and are comfortable with MS-Office (especially Excel). Bonus points for experience with Google Workspace or JIRA!
  • How to join the mission? 🚀

  • First Contact (30 mins): Your journey begins with a call with one of our Talent Acquisition Managers. Share your experience and ambitions, and get your initial questions answered.
  • Deep Dive with the Lead: Next up, you'll chat with Goretti Ramos, who leads our Global People Experience team. Gain valuable insights into the role, the supported markets, and your potential team.
  • Meet the Team (On-site): Your final step is a visit to our Berlin or Munich office, where you'll have the chance to meet or talk with a colleague from our regional or global HR leadership.
  • Life on planet Malt is the perfect space to thrive personally and professionally 💫

    - Onboarding: Before easing into your new role, you’ll spend your first week learning about our culture, products, and services with other onboardees at our office in Paris

    - 30 days of vacation per year

    - Employee Stock Options so you can profit from the business as we grow it

    - Malt sabbatical: After three years, every Malter is entitled to a one month paid sabbatical leave.

    - Free books: If you’re interested in learning more about any topic relevant to Malt’s business, just tell us the books you’d like to read, and we’ll order them for you—without any questions asked or approval processes to follow.
