After reaching the unicorn milestone in 2021, we have plans to accelerate our European deployment while continuing to offer additional innovative solutions. 

Part of our growth strategy is centred around attracting top talent to help us nurture our ongoing success. We are now looking for our new Internal Event Manager.

Reporting to our VP People & Culture, you will join the People team in charge of all employee touchpoints.

What you will do :

  • Own the conceptualisation, organisation and roll-out of our portfolio of strategic corporate events, such as end-of-year celebrations, and regular fun initiatives to support our company culture and continue to create a positive team spirit ;

  • Identify and liaise with potential partners and vendors to support the collegiality-focussed side of team offsites and retreats ;

  • Define and implement a thorough roadmap of creative experiences to drive employee engagement, well-being, cultural initiatives (arts, inspirational events, etc), onboarding, diversity, inclusion and belonging ;

  • Leverage all the cultural potential of Paris as a city to inspire your Lydia Events Strategy in support of our larger People Plan and its evolving goals ;

  • Design employee experience frameworks, from building engagement surveys and development journeys to driving a culture of safe feedback and of inclusivity & belonging ;

  • Leverage and optimise organisational spaces for employee exchange and a variety of engagement initiatives (including our offices, Slack, Notion, internal events, etc.) ;

  • Reinforce workplace culture in the light of remote-based employees in order to extend the Lydia experience beyond our HQ walls ;

  • Support our VP People & Culture in expanding our multiculturalism and interculturality programmes and initiatives ;

  • Be the connecting glue making every employee’s Lydia touchpoints unique and unforgettable employment experiences ;

  • Develop data-driven assessments to track the impact of all people experiences across the organisation ;

  • Develop creative ways to make our strong HQ-based culture expand and replicate to our remote and international locations while allowing for coherent local customisation ;

  • Partner with our Community Manager to showcase and share our Lydia love beyond our workforce through our social media assets.

  • You are in the right place if :

  • You have between 4 and 5 years of relevant experience in similar positions ;

  • You have a culturally-curious and data-driven personality ;

  • You are socially inclined and love to the glue that binds people together, creating community and fostering a positive work environment ;

  • You have a track record as a happiness change agent striving for continuous improvement and organisational cohesion ;

  • You are ideally bilingual in French and English ;

  • You are willing to set the tone and model the standards for organisational collegiality and a healthy workplace where every employee can thrive.
