EMEA Legal Counsel - Business F/M

Based in Paris 

• Business

• Manage, draft and negotiate commercial contracts (SaaS Agreements, Professional Service Agreements, Terms of Use, NDAs, Service Level Agreements, Partner Agreements and Vendor Agreements)
• Work closely as a true business partner with the EMEA Go-To-Market teams (especially Sales Account Managers, Professional Service and Customer Success Management teams) and understand how to balance risks and provide sound advice 
• Help develop and implement standard templates, forms and processes
• Provide training.

• Data Protection 
• Ensure LumApps’ ongoing compliance with data protection laws across Europe, including GDPR 
• Review and improve current policies, internal registers and contracts
• Regular Interactions with DPO, business partners and tech-teams
• Provide GDPR training to employees.

* Skills * 

• Master’s Degree in law;
• At least 4 years or more experience as in-house legal counsel, in commercial or IT law
• Experience in a technology/software contracts and ideally with B2B SaaS company
• Team-oriented attitude, with ability to provide sound legal advice while being commercially-focused advisers to the business
• Fluent in French and English
• Familiar with data protection / privacy law (particularly GDPR), and preferably with commercial agreements relating to this (e.g. data processing agreements).
