The product is at the core of both who we are and what we build 🧬 It's driven by each individual's personal experience and daily work habits.
User experience and agility — as in iterating to seek the fastest and most efficient feedback — are key to our product development philosophy. We constantly look for ways to get the best functional and UX answers as soon as possible. This includes both internally with our designer and externally with beta testers identified among our trial or existing customers.
We operate as a team, keeping in mind the two fundamental Husprey values: kindly challenging and mixing ambition with humility.

released deployed in production every month
We use agile software development based on 2-week cycles. These cycles are guided through various events: kick-off, mid-cycle update, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospective.
Ownership is key to our philosophy. It allows everyone to fully contribute and improve. Every developer owns one or more topics: ensuring that the functional and technical requirements are met, keeping the rest of the team updated on progress, setting up peer programming sessions and mid-cycle functional reviews, ensuring proper test and deployment to production.
Deployments are run independently from the cycle. A new feature is delivered as soon as it is functionally approved, following peer review and testing.
There are four steps to the recruitment process.
First step is a phone conversation with our CTO Joffrey our CTO (30') to ensure that we understand each other's expectations. In short: introduction of the company and product, job description and responsibilities, inspiration and ambition.
Second, a technical talk is held in our offices with Joffrey and a team member (1 hour). The goal is to get detailed informations on a past project you held out (product needs, architecture, individual input, technical complexity), assess your software engineering knowledge, and discuss our technical stack.
Third step is a phone call or a coffee with our CEO Thibaut (30'). We will share our company's vision and make sure you are aligned with our values and our product development strategy.
Lastly, we will take up a reference on the applicant, thus confirming their experience, team spirit and personal ethics.
