HeidelbergCement one of the largest worldwide construction materials companies is looking for a SAP ABAP Specialist (F/m) to build world class SAP development regarding our processes. You will be involved in a global SAP Development team where you can learn and grow with our company as we embark on a digital transformation of our application offerings. You have an opportunity to provide valuable input as we shape and improve our core digital customer offerings over the coming years.

• Ensuring maintenance, further development/improvement and quality assurance of the SAP Core Systems of HeidelbergCement
• Keeping the documentation (Business Processes description, training docs, testing cases, etc.) of the SAP Core Systems of HeidelbergCement AG within the area of ABAP Development up to date
• Development of processes and interfaces; conducting related test scenarios
• Learning the business processes by interacting regularly with business users
• Regularly providing 1st and 2nd level support to end-users of the SAP Core Systems of HeidelbergCement AG
• Participating in SAP Projects with the objective to implement new operating procedures or to improve the existing ones

• University degree in a business or technical field (or comparable qualification/experiences)
• Minimum six years professional technical experience within the Development area of the SAP ERP system with an international background
• Good knowledge in multiple SAP ERP modules/Frameworks (Human Resource Module, Master data governance, Business Workflow would be an advantage) and test-driven development would be an advantage.
• Special focus on SD, MM, and PP module area.
• Good knowledge in the Development area of ABAP/OO, BADI, BAPI, ADOBE FORMS, DDIC, IDOC communication, etc.
• Special focus on OO skills
• Very good English language skills
• Analytical, communicative, and organizational skills
• Structured and target-oriented working style, assertiveness with a clear focus on rapid implementation
• Ability to work in an international team with emphasis on service orientation
