The role

As the right hand of the GM Africa on the expansion side, this position is central in the African Heetch organization. You will be in charge of the search of our new markets and local partners, the pre-launching due diligence as well as of the roll out of the launching itself. We are looking for a French-speaking African countries specialist to own the start and the ramp-up of the new local subsidiaries.

What do you need?

• Experience in business development abroad (Africa, South America or Asia)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in management

• To be capable of negotiating with local authorities, administration and local partners

• To be able to establish a local African subsidiary : Legal, finance, logistics and HR

• To be able to prepare or follow up a business plan

• To be able to identify potential partnerships with governmental & non-governmental organisations & initiate relationships

• To be able to lead

• To be able to hire the right people at the right position

• To be a self-starter (not folding under pressure, thriving in a dynamic environment)

• To be autonomous

• To be a problem-solver

• To speak both French and English

What will you do?

• Study new markets for a potential deployment there

• Look for local partners to accompany us in our launch

• Set up the launch plan made by the General Manager of Africa

• Support the launch of new countries/cities in Africa

• Work with the Country Launcher to hire the local team

• Prepare all the administrative, legal and logistic task to establish the local company

What are you expected to have achieved past a year?

• Rolled out businesses in an African country

• Lead a local team in Africa (directly or indirectly)

• Handle a P&L
