Job description
You will be in charge of supporting and monitoring the day-to-day accounting activities of GitGuardian while supervising the internalization of the accounting during a transition period.
Context: We are looking for a passionate Accounting Manager (France) to help us structure the growth of our Finance Department. You will work in close collaboration with all the teams of the company and will report directly to our Head of Finance.
The existing team: Florian, FinOps Manager Yohann, Head of Finance
Missions: (before accounting internalization)
Control, monitor, reconcile all suppliers flows and expense reports through Spendesk platform
Prepare, control, reconcile all vendors flow through Xero platform
Execute weekly payments batch
Monitor assets management with our Office & IT Admins.
Handle and finalize monthly accounting closings with our external accountant
Handle intercompany invoices and processes
Participate in updating/improving our internal processes and communications
Select and implement the best accounting software to automate our processes, gain visibility and support our growth.
Missions on top of the ones listed above: (after accounting internalization)
Handle all day-to-day accounting entries (suppliers, vendors, banks, etc.)
During monthly accounting closings :
Handle situation/inventory entries such as Payroll, Accruals, Deferrals, D&A, VAT, etc.
Prepare and finalize accounting reports : P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash-flow statements
Control of payroll and justification of social debts
Control of tax returns (VAT, DES, CVAE, CFE, DAS2, CIT)
Participate in the preparation of annual closing documents and their audit
Participate in business subjects with accounting and tax implications

- You have a Master’s degree in accounting or a DSCG, and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- You have a strong ability to adapt, especially in terms of accounting software
- You are rigorous, organized and you know how to show discretion
- You like challenges, working in a team and evolving in a fast growing environment
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Ideally, you have already worked in a start-up company
- In-depth knowledge of French and international taxation is a real plus
