As part of the accounting team based in Paris, we are looking for an Accounting Manager.

In this role, you will manage the Paris team, working on Accounts Receivable with a focus on transactions processed through Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and factoring operations, ensuring accurate records, monitoring financial flows, and managing associated risk, as well as Accounts Payable.

In coordination with all the stakeholders, you will also participate to the improvement of automatic postings pushed by the platform.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare the financial statements in accordance with french GAAP, guaranteeing compliance and high-quality deliverables.
  • Lead and develop a team of accountants, fostering continuous learning and a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Monitor, improve, and document accounting processes and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate and lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely delivery of audit requests and implementation of recommendations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Operations) on projects including new system implementations, process automation, and business integrations.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting operations.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.
  • Act as a key point of contact for accounting-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • About you 🧑‍🚀

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; recognized accounting certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, DSCG) is a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including significant experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (french GAAP), with proven ability to resolve complex accounting issues.
  • Knowledge is conso GAAPs (French conso/IFRS) is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams in an international, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in leading ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle…); strong command of Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills: able to explain complex accounting concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, engagement, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Fluent in English and French
