Job description

About your role:

  • Ensure prospecting in accordance with the defined sales strategy, pipeline building and opportunity identification for our sales organisation towards resellers and some direct customers;
  • Analyze the market and ensure competitive intelligence;
  • Ensure that your objectives are met;
  • Establish a strong network with different levels of contacts;
  • Be innovative and able to implement change effectively;
  • Create metrics for monthly objectives;
  • Motivate resellers to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives with the help of your manager;
  • Regularly report on team/team member results - quantity & quality of leads and revenue to Sales Manager;
  • Work closely with Marketing on defining campaign follow-up and reporting;
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity;
  • Able to multitask, work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build strategic relationships with clients and co-workers, work as part of a team;
  • Take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service;
  • Participate in our international trade shows.

Preferred experience

With a degree from Bac + 2 to Bac + 5, you have significant experience as a Channel Manager or Business Developer. You have a real appetite for IT and are passionate about IP.

Keen on team working and experience sharing, you have real interpersonal skills and the necessary aptitudes for your job: dynamism, responsiveness, rigor and availability.

Your background:

  • Previous experience gained in network / software sales and preferably IP;
  • Prior management of resellers/ Successful coaching of Channel environment, mentoring and achieving performance goals;
  • Consistent proven track record of over-achievement of quota expectations in an individual contributor sales role.

Your skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with partners
  • Outstanding communication, organisational and time-management skills, openness to feedback;
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment;
  • Very good organizational skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, our clients are made-up of CTO profiles and start-up founders/managers;
  • A strong taste for teamwork, proactivity and perseverance;
  • A good knowledge of economic news and of the start-up world;
  • A very good knowledge of office tools (Office Pack, especially Excel);
  • Fluency in English AND French are essential for this role as well as spelling skills!
