Your role

As the Culture & HR Specialist, you will take the lead on creating our Culture & Engagement strategy. With the help of the leadership, you will build and drive initiatives and activities promoting our core Culture and Values.
You will also be responsible for the day-to-day operations, including recruiting new employees, onboarding or termination process, personnel records, employee relations, regulatory reporting requirements, payroll, benefits administration, fostering healthy workplace practices and other areas as needed.
Ultimately, you will ensure HR operates efficiently and aligns with our business objectives. The role is based in Paris and covering France and the UK.

Responsibilities

Culture & engagement:

  • Responsible for managing end to end employee life cycle. Onboarding/ Induction, Employee Engagement, Employee relations /communications, Performance Management, HR Policies & Processes, Employee Satisfaction Survey, Rewards & Recognition, Culture, Diversity & Inclusion
  • Recommend the global approach to surveying our employees and taking action: topics, frequency, ownership, communication etc.
  • Manage culture initiatives to ensure that our culture maintains momentum
  • Design and own the onboarding experience for new employees driving engagement
  • Champion our values through creative implementation across our hybrid working organization including planning and facilitating engagement activities across the company
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions and helping resolve work-related problems
  • Escalate concerns as appropriate.

Recruitment & HR Administration:

  • Support the managers with their recruitment by being in charge of the whole process: sourcing, selection , interviews with potential candidates , assessment and hiring .
  • Ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Onboard new employees and conduct orientations. Ensure data entered is complete and accurate and employees have a thorough understanding of Fixter’s policies and procedures, and acquaintance with the people and the teams.
  • Provide guidance to employees on company HR policies and procedures (e.g. hybrid policy , leaves, etc.), working conditions, wages, benefits, etc…
  • Design and implement benefits, compliance related policies
  • Administer the payroll through Payfit, occupational health, Pension, benefits, and performance management process
  • Manage smooth Exit process in terms of completion of the full and final settlements for employees
  • Make sure Health & safety requirements are set and compliant.
  • Operate all statutory, legal and compliance requirements for all entities in France & UK

Office management :

  • Organize and maintain a variety of office operations and procedures
  • Manage the company premises and liaise with contractors.

Preferred experience

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in HR Operations who is responsible for full employee life cycle management
  • Work experience in similar role in a startup
  • Good experience and strong understanding of the French legal requirements & HR processes
  • Good knowledge of UK labour legislation
  • We are looking for a hands-on, versatile, and self-driven individual to join our team
  • French & English speaker
  • Role located in Paris. You may be able to travel
