The position

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated L2 Support Engineer to be responsible for remotely troubleshooting hardware issues for Evernex’s customers. The Engineer may support in additional technical tasks, such as gathering hardware system specification for contract implementation or training activities as expanding IT systems technical knowledge and sharing it with coworkers. The main task of Engineer is to review collected data and create step by step technical analysis for field engineers and customers.

To be successful Engineer, you should demonstrate very good knowledge for most popular x86/64 servers and have knowledge about storage or networking systems accompanied with good communication and self-organization skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical support for Evernex’s customers
  • Analyzing available and obtaining additional information from the customer or field engineer to determine root of the issue
  • Qualification of incidents, at 1st to 2nd level
  • Creation of Technical Analysis containing issue’s description with step by step resolution plan.
  • Communication with the customer’s technical contacts and field engineers
  • Replying to customer enquiries, status monitoring and proper documentation in ERP system in accordance with customers service level agreements
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance remotely
  • Technical support for Evernex sales team
  • Cooperation with international clients and partners
  • Preparing and conducting training for internal and external participants

Job requirements

  • Very good knowledge of hardware and built in management software for x86/64 servers from leading manufacturers (L2)
  • Basic knowledge of storage and networking technologies from leading manufacturers.
  • Very good communication skills, both written and verbal – English and Polish
  • Confident and friendly demeanor
  • Talent for self-organization and ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Good teamwork skills and attention to detail
  • Valid car license
  • Flexibility
