The successful candidate will play a significant role within EA group Treasury & Investment department and will oversee the various investment activities for 4 insurance companies (operating in Europe and in the US) in a context of growing business.
Primary duties and responsibilities
· Investments monitoring and control: design and prepare dashboards and KPI in order to assess the Group’s investments and treasury portfolios performance (EA internal reporting & reporting to Generali Head Office).
· Prepare Budget/ Forecast and Plan for financial incomes liaising with controlling and local entities.
· Liaise with actuarial and risk functions as well as with country CFOs in order to implement the group liquidity risk management policy and to perform all related reporting duties.
· Prepare EA group Investment Committee building agenda in coordination with all the participants, proposing topics and formalizing the outcomes.
· Communicate and closely monitor the Strategic Asset Allocation for 7 investments portfolios (4 insurance companies)
· Liaise BU France portfolio implementation team to optimize portfolio tactical asset allocation. Propose P&L management actions.
· Accounting: ensure the correct application of IFRS9 standards liaising with BU France accounting team
· Liaise with IT function in order leverage on BU France data warehouse to build and automate investment reports.
· Quarterly closings: submit investment portfolios data into ADM (Generali group data ware) ensuring alignment and reconciliation with EA local tools.
· Reallocation of investments incomes from EA SA unique investment portfolio to its local branches across Europe.
· Assist the Head of department in various ad hoc projects as needs arise.
The ideal Candidate should be motivated and must possess the following:
· A master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business
· At least 5 years of experience, in Planning & Control, Treasury or Investment department in audit/consultancy firm following projects in insurance sector.
· Advanced technical skills in finance and risk management. Knowledge of Accounting standards, with experience on adoption of IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 metrics
· Knowledge of Actuarial Reserving is a plus.
· IT skills: Excel, Business Object and Visual Basic scripts.
· Project Management skills
· Ability to work autonomously
· Be flexible, have the ability to multi-task effectively and ensure timely delivery.
· Full proficiency in English and in French
