Job description
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing workshops, training seminars and webinars directed to English Language Teachers (ELT), students and university staff,
- Representing the ETS TOEFL® Program in Student Fairs, Conferences and ELT events,
- Presenting at ETS driven events,
- Helping to develop videos, articles, infographics, tips and other outreach materials directed to ELT and students
- Collaborating with the communication team to engage with the ELT and students’ community through social media
- Growing presence and recognition in the ELT community
- Responding promptly and appropriately to issues, questions or concerns of ELT, Higher Education representatives and test takers about ETS’s assessment tools,
- Work together with the business team for expanding the ETS products/tests outreach in selected countries through targeted business activities.
Preferred experience
At least five years of experience, including:
- Working with English Language Teachers networks and universities’ decision makers
- Working in a multicultural and multilingual environment
- Teaching English as a second/foreign language
Other qualifications:
- Experience in leveraging social media to engage with community on English learning related topics
- Proven records of successful presentations/ workshops for the ELT community
- You like to be visible online and on events
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and other European languages
- Travel availability - Note: this position involves occasional week-end work and frequent travel mostly in country but also abroad
- Organizational skills, flexibility, taking responsibility and being able to work in a dynamic team
- Good knowledge of European Higher Education System.
Education:
- University Degree in English Language Teaching or English Literature
- Post graduate degree in ELT would be an asset
- Experience + Certificate of teacher of English as a second/ foreign language
