Main duties

As a Country Manager your missions will include:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Identify, build and nurture strong government relations, directly leading directly to government contracts of $1m+,

  • Develop and lead the implementation of a country-wide growth strategy.

  • Develop long-term strategic sales, marketing, and business development plans for UAE in line with guidelines provided by ETS Global BV.

  • Develop and direct the annual operating and tactical plans and annual operating budget to meet the revenue and growth goals.

  • Build and maintain relationships with educational and business relevant authorities

Operational Leadership:

  • Start up the new organization including recruiting and staffing and equipping the entity for success.

  • Ensure optimal customer experience and aggressive business focus

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Office by

  • Directing and motivating staff to successfully perform and deliver results that contribute to the success of business objectives and goals,

  • Maintaining complete and accurate financial records, and submitting regular financial reports.

  • Developing and administering policies and procedures in areas of office management, work processes, procurement, asset management and maintenance, employee relations, and other related areas.

  • Ensuring compliance with all legal, contractual, and statutory requirement of the business.

This is a full time position based in KSA

Preferred experience

Education / Job requirements

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, and an MBA or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Significant government relations experience, including a demonstrable track record of successful bidding for government business.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of domestic and international academic and corporate operations.

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience of which at least the last 5 years should be in a similar role managing an office or a significant business unit with P&L responsibility.

  • Strong leadership skills along with strong management and administrative skills.

  • Having an extensive network in the education (private and public), training and recruitment sectors and in particular with local government authorities.

  • Excellent human relations, organizing, planning, team building and motivational skills.

  • English & Arabic (both verbal & written)
