We are seeking a strong motivated Backend Engineer eager to leverage his/her skills in our fight against cancer. This role will report directly to Epigene’s Head of Engineering. The team is located in Paris at Station F, and benefits from the advisory of world-class cancer scientists, data scientists, and technologists, as well as seasoned tech and biotech entrepreneurs and investors, including Daphni.

Responsibilities

• Build, improve and maintain our platform for genomic data-driven drug discovery in oncology;
• Review and test code written by your team;
• Monitor, analyze and report bugs from our platform;
• Work closely with the Product Team with data scientists and computational biologists to integrate new product features.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Python and FastAPI framework;
• Prior experience in DevOps (CI/CD, Kubernetes, queuing services);
• Prior experience interacting with databases (SQL and noSQL);
• Working knowledge of healthcare, biopharma and/or oncology;
