Job description

The role

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist (Biotechnology) to join DNA Script’s human resources team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Biotechnology), you will spearhead the company’s hiring activities across all its locations, including France and the United States, for both scientific and non-scientific positions. You will be responsible for defining positions and filling them with the best employees. Your work will require continuous relationships with operational teams, candidates and recruiting firms. Your ability to deeply understand the company’s operational needs as well as its overall strategy will help you find the best talents to support the company’s growth. You will report to the VP, Corporate Operations.

Responsibilities

Hiring process

  • Be primarily responsible for executing the company’s hiring plan.
  • Be primarily responsible for maintaining high standards of applicant satisfaction.
  • Support hiring managers in writing job descriptions and scorecards.
  • Source candidates through all necessary channels, including through direct approach and through headhunters. Build a talent pool.
  • Arrange interviews and interview applicants yourself.
  • Design compensation offers.

Employer brand

  • Maintain and improve employer brand to best serve the company’s hiring needs.
  • Incentivize employees to recommend relevant applicants.

Reporting & Tools

  • Lead weekly hiring reviews and report on KPIs.
  • Make sure software tools effectively support the company’s hiring needs.

Preferred experience

Qualifications and experience

Essential

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for scientific and/or technical positions.
  • Ability to understand the company’s market, product, technology and operational needs.
  • Demonstrated experience with direct approach and headhunters.
  • Demonstrated experience with international hiring.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Excellent rigor and attention to details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage expectations in order to deliver on time.

Desirable

  • Experience in a start-up environment.
  • Experience in biotechnology or life science.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources.

Additional Information

  • Job located in Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, France. (Paris area - metro line 7)
  • This position requires travel to the United States from time to time.
  • Start date: ASAP.
