About the role:

DHL is looking to add a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, Storage to its Infrastructure team in Prague, CZ. This technical leadership position is primarily responsible for delivering NAS Storage implementation serviced, data migration services plus provide 3rd tier operational support. The Principal Engineer will support regional and global NAS storage. The successful candidate for this position will be a motivated self-starter and leader that interact well with global IT team members and professionally with internal and external customers. NAS Storage experience with NetApp or EMC is essential.

You should have:

• 5+ years of experience in similar role
• Senior engineering level knowledge of NetApp or EMC technology in a large enterprise Exchange environment. Expert level knowledge of future versions and impact of implementation into the design of the infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of OS/Hardware/Database/Middleware/Monitoring/Infrastructure applications
• Deep knowledge of data storage, high-end server hardware (stand alone, blade), SAN, NAS, backup, and virtualization platforms
• Strong knowledge of Systems Management Methodologies to ensure performance and capacity measurement and management
• Performance in Monitoring and Capacity Management
• Able to write effective reports and influence others
• Good experience with scripting and programming skills
• Active practitioner of IT Problem Management and troubleshooting
• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline
• Working knowledge and/or certification in Storage Engineering
• ITIL certification
