The role will be part of one of our IT Services DevOps teams which is delivering build (projects) and run (support) services for the main DHL website www.dhl.com.

Our product is available in all countries and territories where DHL operates, which results in complex environment with content and functionality differences per location, per language etc. Among your tasks would be investigation and resolution of incidents (issues, changes), deployments, working closely with various monitoring tools and if desired you will have a chance to work on automations scripts etc. Active cooperation with other teams will be needed for more complex issues. This is an international team located in the Czech Republic.

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

· Experience in Linux, scripting in bash, browser console, monitoring tools.

· Understanding of networking will be an integral part of this role.

· Involvement in Jenkins, Ansible and some of the cloud providers (ideally Azure) is a plus.

· We can upskill you If you are not strong in some of the areas above.

You are a DevOps engineer and you are interested in both areas (support and development). You are eager to learn, you can work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks accordingly. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be useful. Since then, I was lucky to explore various roles starting from Application support, Service Owner, Solution Owner and as of 2022 a Team lead.
