Dataiku is looking for someone with integrity, energy, and a strong financial background to join our very international and growing finance team. As part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will be committed to preparing and analyzing financial reports for budget and forecasting purposes and performing business analyses to help optimize and manage costs. You will also present financial results and recommendations to business and finance partners to help achieve business goals. Additionally, you will partner with accounting to ensure the accurate accruals of commissions to help present a more precise picture of the Sales team’s financial performance.

In this role you will:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial performance, identify key trends and business drivers that impact financial performance
  • Prepare variance reports and presentations, including monthly business reviews with business partners
  • Develop financial models and large datasets to identify areas of financial risk and opportunity to ensure annual expense targets are met
  • Use Adaptive Insights (Workday Financial Planning), Google Suite, Netsuite, Microsoft Excel, and Anaplan to maintain, update and continuously improve financial forecast accuracy
  • Assist Accounting team with month-end closing activities such as reclassifications, prepaid amortization, and accruals
  • Specific areas of responsibility include commission expense forecast, headcount management and discretionary spend including T&E and vendor planning
  • Drive company-wide annual budgeting process to completion through budget consolidations, financial modeling, and ad-hoc analyses
  • Develop presentations that compare data, highlight risks & opportunities and focus on qualitative and quantitative issues
  • Present financial results and recommendations to business and finance partners to help achieve business goals

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in FP&A or another a corporate financial planning role, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting - experience with Sales function is a plus
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with the ability to analyze financial data to identify trends and issues, draw conclusions, and make recommendations with attention to detail and timelines
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands
  • Facilitate, coordinate and prioritize requirements from various stakeholders within the broader FP&A team
  • A self-starter mindset with exceptional attention to details and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, high-growth, and global environment
  • Demonstrated drive for continuous process improvement
  • Ability to build financial models; general accounting knowledge, specifically around accrual, cost allocation, and amortization
  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in Adaptive Insights (Workday Financial Planning), Netsuite, Anaplan
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
