Reporting directly into our Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll lead the team responsible for building and amplifying Dataiku’s voice and articulating our value proposition. You’ll leverage your experience leading brands in the B2B technology ecosystem to serve as a catalyst of the company’s vision, and be responsible for building and executing our strategic communications function. You’ll also collaborate cross-functionally, and draw on your extensive network of stakeholder relationships to drive agency management.

If you’re passionate about strategic communications, thrive in fast-paced and innovative environments, have a knack for building morale, and possess a keen attention-to-detail, this role may be a good fit for you.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead global external corporate communications, executive communications, social media, and corporate media relations, including crisis response.

  • Build a plan to further develop a robust spokesperson and influencer network across North America. Support building external platforms and messaging through interviews, op-eds, and speaking engagements.
  • Orchestrate global communication efforts in collaboration with our local leaders and their agencies.
  • Partner with business leaders to educate on communications and public relations strategies, objectives, and priorities. Provide coaching and guidance to the leadership team to enhance their communication and presentation skills.
  • Define key messages on topics relevant to Dataiku's core business and audiences with a focus on developing our profile as a respected thought leader.
  • Engage with the relevant industry groups and forums on key issues relating to the Dataiku core business.
  • Coordinate with various internal teams to support announcements, program updates, and more.
  • Attract, coach, and develop others, understanding team dynamics and strengthening the overall capability of the organization.

What you’ll need to be successful

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in a senior communications management role, both in-house and/or agency, preferably in high-growth and/or technology industry.
  • Experience leading comprehensive strategic communications, media relations, and outreach programs to advance a company’s mission and commercial goals.
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships with media, and in successfully positioning complex subject matter with the media to achieve high-impact placements.
  • Ability to think creatively, with a track record for bringing strategic thinking and product propositions into action plans and output.
  • Strong addition to detail, including ability to balance competing priorities
  • Proven success working closely with external and internal stakeholders, including senior-level executives on messaging, speaking opportunities, media requests, internal communications, and more.
  • Passion for corporate communications and a fast-paced working environment.
  • The ability to think strategically and innovatively, while also employing a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to operate autonomously with a high level of accountability.
  • Interest in AI and ML from a technology, business, and societal impact perspective.
