We’re looking for a Legal Counsel in Paris!

DataDome is seeking a highly motivated technology lawyer to join our growing team in Paris. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on cutting edge legal issues in cybersecurity and AI. Reporting directly to our General Counsel based in New York, you will be a trusted partner working globally across all teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, Tech, and Operations. 

This is a hybrid role based in Paris, France.

In this role, you will:

• Commercial Contracts: Negotiate and draft a broad range of customer agreements (SaaS, service), partner agreements (resellers, referrers), technology alliances (integration, marketplace), and vendor contracts against EU and US market standards.
• Product Counseling: Advise tech, engineering, infrastructure, and security research teams on product, regulatory, privacy, security, intellectual property, and other legal risks and develop creative business-oriented solutions.
• Marketing and Advertising: Protect the brand while supporting growth initiatives in compliance with privacy, intellectual property, competition, and marketing and advertising laws; and provide timely review of marketing content, social media campaigns, sales enablement materials, and other publications.
• Regulatory Compliance: Provide pragmatic advice on a broad range of compliance matters, including AI, data protection, and sector-specific laws, regulations, and standards; and own the implementation of internal policies and best practices.

What we look for:

• M1 or M2 law degree in commercial or civil law.
• Licensed or qualified practice law in France.
• 5+ years of experience practicing law at a law firm and/or in-house, preferably in the technology space.
• Fluent in both English and French.
• Fast learner, highly adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
