As Account Manager, based in Cataluña and Balearic Islands, you will be the primary contact and responsible for cultivating and driving the commercial relationship for customer accounts in their territory. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities, planning and achieving sales objectives with an account management approach. Furthermore, you will have responsibility for customer satisfaction and will coordinate the actions of internal departments (sales, marketing, supply chain and services).
What will be your missions at bioMérieux?
- Act as the primary contact for specific customer accounts in a defined territory.
- Develop knowledge of the market and the customer (i.e. decision-makers, issues, bioMérieux and competitor installed base, needs) and update customer information as needed in the CRM
- Design how to create and maintain relationships with accounts in order to achieve annual sales objectives (growth, turnover, margin) across all ranges, by adopting an offer and solutions approach
- Propose and share the commercial strategy with the “account team”, organize and facilitate “account team” meetings
- Manage the entire sales process and define the actions to be carried out with the support of internal experts
- Support the customer and the internal team on the project implementation and the solution appropriation.
- Adopt a 360-degree management of the customer and the coordination of internal activities liaising with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Marketing and Sales.
- Initiate specific programs (i.e. conferences, trade shows, on demand visits, etc.) that focus on key customer accounts
- Organize and lead the response for sales contract negotiations relying on the technical experts of the ranges and working with the sales teams in the field to finalize the opportunities.
- In coordination with the KAM and/or hierarchical management, ensure proper alignment of the account strategy in relation to lab chains and central purchasing agencies.
- Ensure the compliance of sales activities with legal and ethical standards as well as with company policies.
- Foster the development of a culture of Dare and Try and Growth mindset.
